Nuit Blanche: a night of art

On June 19th 2010 the night mayors of Amsterdam, following cities such as Paris, Tokyo, Toronto and Montreal, will host a Nuit Blanche and Amsterdam will spend one night a year without sleep. Nuit Blanche is a freely accessible, twelve hour long nightly city festival in which the city centre becomes a stage for creative projects. The city is taken over by the various artistic disciplines of theatre, music, installation- and light projects. An ideal setting for both young and old to discover and enjoy art together, experience the night and city all over again.
