What is your name?
Marie Cloughesy

Where are you from?
United States – most recently from the State of North Carolina.

What do you do?
I’m a trained chef, but mostly I “manage” my family of 2 children, a husband, a dog and two cats. I also do volunteer work at the school and church.

What are your hobbies?
I love doing pottery, painting and playing tennis. AND…I love finding wonderful new restaurants!

Which historical event, in your lifetime, has had a profound effect on you?
The assassination of President John F. Kennedy

Which book has inspired you the most?
The Drifters, by James A. Michener

Which person has had the biggest impact on you?
My Dad. He was such a positive and giving person.

What is your favorite place in The Hague or surroundings?
I love driving the back roads north of Wassenaar during tulip season. Looking forward to doing this keeps me going during the long, dark, cold and wet winter season.
