The Banff Tour comes to the Netherlands at the end of March. This shows the best adventure films from the Banff Center Mountain Film Festival, which takes place annually in November in the small town of Banff in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

This festival has been around for over 40 years and has developed into a popular meeting place for outdoor fans and filmmakers. To ensure that all adventurers and nature lovers from all over the world can see this, Banff Tour comes with a selection of the best films. The tour travels around the world and will stop in six cities in the Netherlands in March.

The Tour Films Program:

Cronoception in which a group of freeriders go on an adventure in Kyrgyzstan and snowboard down the steepest peaks of the Tian Shan Mountains. They also end up in the mystical world of the Kyrgyz nomads and undertake an arduous journey across the vast Kyrgyz steppe. It is certainly not an ordinary expedition and there is no way back.

Reel Rock - DNA takes you to one of the toughest climbing routes in the world: DNA. Is DNA the next 9c, highest difficulty, in climbing? The famous French climber, Sébastien Bouin, has climbed this new route in the Gorges du Verdon in the south of France. The Frenchman's first ascent took place in April 2022 but because no one has yet managed to repeat the route, his 9c difficulty rating has not yet been confirmed. Yet everyone agrees: DNA is absurd and absolutely next-level. During this documentary you will go with Sébastien Bouin to dizzying and steep heights.

The documentaries “Mustafa Ceylan”, “Cross Countries”, “Subterranean” and “Desert Wings” can also be seen.
